ELA 5 Subject Notebooks will be collected every two weeks throughout the year. The link to to the top "Notebook Table of Contents" has all the page numbers, titles and points possible for each assignment. It will be updated periodically. The grading process is as follows:
1. The table of contents must be complete otherwise there is no place to record the students' grades
2. Each page must have the page number on the outside top each page, a title on each page and the date on each page or assignment will not be assessed
3. If students fail to turn in their notebook they can turn it in during the next notebook collection. Notebooks not graded will be assessed a "0" and "missing" for each assignment.
4. If the student would like to redo and assignment or complete a missing assignment they have until the next notebook collection to do so, a grade period of two weeks. They must highlight the redone or completed assignment in the table of contents to signal that they would like me to assess the assignment again.
