4 pts for each practice tessellation: translation, rotation, and glide reflection These practices are amoeba looking shapes One a separate tracing sheet, you need to tessellate your amoeba When tessellating the rotation, start you amoeba in the center of the tracing paper. 4 pts for your final design on a 14 by 17 sheet of paper. 2 pts for attractive coloring 2 pts for original design or using the equilateral triangle

| Pool shot or Miniature Golf - Two Students can work together Power points |

10 points for correctly completing the 3 pool shots & 2 miniature golf problems and attempting the 3rd miniature golf problem. Each student must turn in this portion. 4 points for the video Person 1 will be the shooter Person 2 will be using the tape measure to find the refection. Person 1 will line the queue stick up with the ball the reflection point to locate the spot to bank the queue ball off the rail. Person 2 will mark the bank spot with a piece of paper. Full credit is completing a bank shot by using the mark from the reflection. Then students need to switch person 1 & 2. 2 points for demonstrating how to complete a double bank shot 4 points for turning the video into a power point presentation Slide 1 – Introduction with students name and location. Slide 2 – A diagram explaining how to complete a bank shot using reflections. Cut and paste a pool table with a ball. Label the side which will become the line of reflection. Draw in the reflected pocket. Draw in the segment connecting the queue ball and the reflected pocket. Slide 3.1 – Video of successful bank shot of student 1.
