Welcome
This is my 11th year teaching geometry.
The district has purchased new textbooks, so I am very excited to be learning geometry with your child this year. This may sound silly, but each author or publisher has new problems and class activites. This makes the geometry concepts new again for me too.
I believe in a hands on approach to learning and require critical thinking of my students. I want students to learn how to find mathematical patterns and solve multi-steps problems. The textbook the district has purchased supports this approach.
I am looking forward to meeting you during Open House and communicating with you this year.
