Five Basic Rules To Live By
We have five basic rules that your child should follow to achieve to their fullest potential in clas:
*Be prepared for class each day.
*Raise your hand to speak.
*Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
*Listen and follow direstions at all times.
*Be polite and respectful to everyone.

Behavior is monitored by the colored "card system." Children begin each day with a green card. Hopefully, due to good behavior, they will maintain a green card for the day.
If the child breaks a rule, their card may be switched to blue, orange, yellow or red respectively, depending on the undesired behavior. Blue means a "time out" is necessary. Orange means a phone call home will be made. Yellow is another warning and Red means the child will make a visit to the principal for a disciplinary action.
Children will receive rewards for good behavior. They will include: verbal praise, stickers, treats, "Caught Being Good " stickers (collected on designated sheets that are redeemed monthly at the Mustang Shop) and Good Citizenship awards at the Principal's Quarterly Awards assembly.
Please review at the end of each week, the monthly behavior comment sheets that are sent home on Friday and talk with your child about how well they did and/or behavior that may need to improve.
These sheets should be signed and returned on Monday of the following week. Children that keep their green card all week will recieve a small reward for their extra efforts.
Please continuously reinforce with your child the importance of being Respectful, Resposible and Ready to Learn,as we also reinforce the schoolwide Positive School Culture expectations at the beginning of each qurter with all of the children to encourage good behavior. Thank you!
