Believe it or not, I am beginning the seventeenth year of my teaching career. The last thirteen years have been at Fairview, all in the intermediate grades.
Currently, I teach math to all of our fifth and sixth graders. I also sponsor Math Club and Student Council, and serve as our building Technology Coordinator.
I am married to a high school Social Studies teacher, and we have three wonderful children together. Our oldest is in eighth grade this year, and the baby is a third grader. In between, we have a wonderful fifth grader (yes, that's five different school calendars to manage!). We also have two big, playful dogs, Spider and Daisy!
I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education at the University of Cincinnati, and have my Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction/Technology Instruction from Grand Canyon University.
I enjoy teaching, and can not imagine doing anything else with my life. Feel free to call, email or stop by if you need to talk to me or would just like to introduce yourself.
