TESTING DURING MARCH
me
Hello. I'm Joelle McConnell. I am the intermediate Intervention Specialist at Fairview German Language School. This is my 15th year teaching students with special needs and my third year at Fairview. Prior to working at Fairview I taught a self contained cross-categorical classroom at Kirby Road for 6 years. And what seems forever ago, I had my first teaching experiences in Hamilton City Schools at Harrison Elementary. I attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana where I received my bachelor’s degree. My teaching certifications are both in regular education and special education. My husband's name is Steve. We have two wonderful daughters Kelsey and Bailey. I recently obtained my Masters in Special Education from Grand Canyon University.

I have the wonderful opportunity this year of working with students both with and without special needs. I enjoy going into the classroom and assisting any student that may be having difficulty on a given lesson. All 5th and 6th grade students are welcome to come to my office during their study hall period to ask for help and assistance.

Please feel free to contact me if you have and questions or concerns. I am available during the school day from 8:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. at 363-2126 or email me at mcconnj@cps-k12.org. Leave a voice mail if I am unable to answer and I will return your phone call within 24 hours.
