other stuff about me
I am married;

Magister Ligon also teaches Latin. He thinks Monty Python are uniformly amusing.(!)

We have two small Monsters:

Zoe, who plays the violin (I'm learning, too- sort of), and fiddle (not really the asme thing, actually), as well as the mandolin, flute and the newest acquisition, a banjo-mandolin (VERY cute); sings in the choir and swims on the swim team;

David, who loves Harry Potter, Doctor Who, and Star Wars, can turn nearly any item into a sword (or light saber), leaves trails of LEGOs all over the universe, is learning to play the tin whistle, loves dried mangoes especially and generally fruit of any kind, as well as wasabi peas, and is the Eponymous, Omnivorous Moose of Room 234.

When I'm not chasing my kids (or yours!) or marking papers, I do a LOT of old-house repairs- we've trained the kids to strip wallpaper, among other highly important skills. I like to garden (but not to weed) and cook, and sometimes can be found sewing fun stuff- recent projects: many and Jedi and Hogwarts robes for birthday friends.

There are three baby orange cats (Ginger Tim, Roly-Poly Clementine, and Cinnamon Simba) and are two old and not-so-clever dogs (Klio and Francine) in the Domus Monstrorum; several aquatic pets have been interred in the mint garden in the past few summers.

Purple, blue and green (peacock colors) ar emy favorites;

Good chocolate is my favorite treat- especially Cadbury's Dairy Milk . . . . MMMMMM. . . . the other Monsters usually eat it first at home.

Mango Gelato I can get on our Italy field trip in the spring (all 4th years and beyond are eligible to come along). Small Monsters want to come but will have to wait until they're 10th graders- unless the grandparents decide to take us for winter break sometime, as I remember (from a dream?) having been suggested.

I will usually have a cup of tea with me, and apparatus for making more around the Shrine if you really need something soothing, though beware if I pull out the Emergency Carbonated Caffeine. It can make me twitchy!
