WELCOME TO THE SHRINE OF THE MOOSE!
JCL, Walnut Hills' chapter of the Junior Clasical League (Latin club) meets here.
We have sessions 2 Mondays per month for Certamen practice (Latin Quiz Team). (Disease and meetings excepted; check door sign or announcements.)
We have General club meetings here on Tuesdays: topics can range from lessons on ancient religion to Making Plaster Death Masks and Silly Classics-Related Movies (with Popcorn!).
HARRY POTTER (or SCI-FI, now watching Doctor Who) club will be meeting here Thursdays after school! In the past we've read and discussed the HP books and watched the films. . . . last year we took a detour thruogh Jane Austen (NOT sci-Fi but awesome) and ended with a bunch of Doctor Who (the new ones). . . Check in to see what's happening and to give input on topics or outings! |
