Each earned a national medal as well as the Laureat du Chapitre award. Over 100,000 students participate in the Grand Concours each year.

Deciding which language to study ?
DID YOU KNOW? French is spoken in over 43 countries worldwide! It is an official language in 32 countries.
More than 50% of modern English vocabulary words have their origins in French.

What do Walnut language students do in the summer? In '09,graduating senior, Emily W. prepared to go to France for a year with AFS. Ellen S. and Veronica C. were immersed in the Concordia Language Villages summer program. Maddy B. studied art in Provence.
In 2008, Emma R. attended the Middlebury-Monterey Institute to study Arabic. Lyla A. attended the Concordia Language Villages.

Again this year, the curriculum is enriched with pen pals in France!

Help nite: Tuesday afternoons.

Parents: please encourage your student to use the resources on this site.
