Welcome to Room 206!
We have an exciting year for you! Our first grade has begun a new language arts program that will take students on a journey to the oceans. In "Seacastles" we will read about Sam the clam and his many pals. In the daily planner, you may find word lists, poems or short stories that your child can read to you for extra practice.
Please be sure to check the daily planner each day. You can tell what kind of day your child had. You can write me a note that won't get lost in the bag! Homework for the week will be handed out on Monday. The packet and spelling assignments are due on Friday.
We also have a wonderful reading project called Rosey Reader. Students bring home a book to read with you. I would love to see everyone participate!
Please let me know if you would like to volunteer. No amount of time is too short.

Students will need a packed lunch. Place in a plastic grocery bag with child's name. Thanks!
