Help Your Children Be Safe on the Internet!
stop sign
While computers and the internet are wonderful tools, unfortunately there are people who use them to lure our children into dangerous situations. Cincinnati Public Schools has rules for computer use to protect our students. In Schiel's library, I talk with the children about the ways they can keep themselves safe when on the internet.

All students must have a signed Acceptable Use and Release of Information form on file at the school.
This gives the school permission to let your child use the internet for educational purposes. It also allows us to publish your child's work or school generated pictures on teacher or the school websites. The MOST students would be identified with is first name and grade level.
What You Can Do!
  • Keep the family computer in a public area of your home.
  • Know what websites your children are visiting.
  • Talk with your children about the dangers on online predators.
