Professional Experiences and Background
I moved to Cincinnati after graduating from Ohio University in 1983. I worked as a substitute teacher in several districts in the greater Cincinnati area until joining Cincinnati Public Schools in 1985. My first teaching assignment was at Dater Junior High (four years) and was followed by one year at Peter H. Clark Academy. I joined the staff at Walnut Hills High School in 1990. I took a one year leave of absence in 1997, earned a Master's Degree with an emphasis on Instructional Technology from Ohio University, and returned to Walnut Hills High School in 1998.
