My name is Karen Gately and I am a first grade teacher at Schiel Primary School for the Arts Enrichment. I was a flute performance major at Butler University and received my elementary teaching certification from the University of Cincinnati. I am currently working on my masters and will be finished in the spring of 2010.
This site is designed to keep the parents of my students informed about what is happening in our classroom. You can find our homework and spelling words for the week, skill expectations for a first grader at Schiel P.S.A.E., tips and sites to help you help your first grader and lots more!!!
