Chapter nine continues some of the ideas shared in chapters seven and eight. The chapter analyzes writing for film as a screenwriter. In particular, chapter nine differenciates what is an "adapted screenplay" vs. an "original screenplay." The chapter also explains the idea of "figurative technique" (making comparisons using motifs, symbols and metaphors).
