NATIONAL FRENCH CONTEST 2010
FELICITATIONS! 11 students have placed NATIONALLY in the TOP TEN RANKS on the 2010 National French Exam!
Each earns a national medal as well as the Laureat du Chapitre award. The students are tested on their ability to understand native speakers and to interpret readings and grammatical structures in a cultural context. Over 100,000 students participate in the Grand Concours each year.

"Cyrano" by the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park Education Outreach. On Feb 3rd, students enjoyed this French classic and were able to help with Haitian Earthquake relief as well through donations collected at the door. A big thanks to the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

Student highlights: Adrienne M. will study art in Provence this summer. Emily W.'09 is finishing an AFS year in France. Ellen S. and Veronica C. went to Concordia Language Villages. Maddy B. studied art in Provence in '09. In '08, Emma R. studied Arabic with the Middlebury-Monterey Institute.
Program highlights: Cafe Francais. French pen pals. National French Contest. National French Honor Society. Cercle Francais.
