Be on time and ready to work when the bell rings
means in your seat, text book, notebook and assignment pad out
Be prepared with text, homework, etc.
means these are on your desk ready to use or turn in
Be cooperative with your fellow students and teacher
means you wait to be called upon when you have a question or comment
Be respectful of your fellow students and teacher
means only positive words are used in the classroom
Be willing to use your time wisely
means stay on task and help others around you to stay on task too
Be willing to participate in class
means listen carefully so that you can ask questions when you don’t understand something that has been presented
Be willing to do the work assigned in a timely fashion
means that you come to class each day having done the assignment(s) given to the best of your ability, completely and thoughtfully
Be ready to write with a pen
means no pencil allowed unless teacher stipulated; correcting pen in contrasting color always available
Be studying nightly
means that you do your assignments but you also review and study every night
Be ready for a fun and fulfilling year in Latin!
